Shaping Stories of Success (SBM)


The project focused on producing a corporate video and print advertisements to elevate the SBM brand across local and international media, positioning SBM as a key global player. The client brief emphasised the need for both the video and print advertisements to be impactful and creative, with the option to integrate the logo in a unique and innovative way.

Through comprehensive research to highlight what distinguishes the brand from its competitors and elevate its visual identity, we created a 3D-animated film, accompanied by print advertisements inspired by the film's theme, "Shaping Stories of Success." The project involved the scriptwriting process, creative development, storyboarding, 3D modelling and post-production. Other fundamental elements of the project included casting the voiceover, selecting the soundtrack and devising the sound design effects to enhance the visual storytelling.

The copywriting for the print advertisements was crafted to ensure seamless alignment between the visuals and the message. The goal was to incorporate visual elements from the video into the print advertisements, creating a cohesive balance between the online and offline world.

The Believers (AfrAsia Bank)


For "Believe Different", while every brand was using their experts to talk on how their brands are being resilient, we believed in a storytelling approach amidst this PR-purpose driven campaign through motion graphics, that would strengthen trust within the audience during those uncertain times as to why they initially chose AfrAsia Bank as their financial partner in the first place. We embarked on a 'belief-driven' strategy, using 3 keywords that would be fundamental elements of the story, which the brand has always upholded and that connected to their audience / customers. After brainstorming with the client, the keywords chosen were “relationships”, “opportunities” and “growth”.

For "Believers in Privileged Relationships" dedicated to the Private Banking business segment, the idea was to create the sequel to develop the belief statement focused on “Relationships”, by crafting the story to ultimately communicate that: AfrAsia Bank is committed to providing with bespoke, efficient banking and financial planning services, all accentuated by their inherent belief – crafting and nurturing privileged relationships built on trust and transparency.

For "AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open 2022",  the idea was to explain the “whole-in-one” belief, understanding the island’s importance on the world map as well as the bank being the financial caddy to partner with.The major highlights that we approached in the story were:  1) A whole-in-one belief of pursuing excellence, in terms of Mauritius’ advantages of being an IFC of choice and a lifestyle hub, and 2) AfrAsia Bank’s strengths in terms of their expertise and its purposeful belief in action “connecting people, places and possibilities".
